Locally Infused Chemotherapy
Together We Can
Surgery is the most common invasive treatment for cancers that form solid tumors. It cannot, however, be used for all types of cancers.

Chemotherapy is the use of drugs to kill cancer cells or slow their growth. Since Chemo drugs can travel to nearly all parts of the body, they are useful for cancer that has metastasized.

Radiation Therapy uses high energy radiation to shrink tumors, kill cancer cells, and slow their growth.

Chemoembolization is a recently developed treatment involving localized cheomotherapy. Chemotherapy drugs are injected through a catheter directly into a tumor using image guidance, where they block the flow of blood to the tumor. By blocking the blood supply, the tumor growth is prevented due to lack of oxygen and nutrients.
