Algae Farm

Algae Farming

Exhausted from every automobile is a colorless gas that causes ocean acidification, global warming, and ultimately, climate change. This gas is carbon dioxide.

Our new invention is a filter that will remove most of the carbon dioxide from automobile exhaust and will have a major impact on the environment. The filter is located after the catalytic converter and uses membrane separation to extract the carbon dioxide. The membrane separation will be created by partial pressure. The carbon dioxide gets caught because it has a higher permeation rate.

The carbon dioxide will be sent into a tank and liquefied. A sensor in your car will tell you when the tank is full.

Once your reservoir is filled, you will go to the gas station and empty the carbon dioxide into a storage tank. From there, it will be transported to another location where it can be used for different purposes, such as algae biofuel production.
