Technology

The PTWHRS will combine three different nanotechnologies to accomplish our objective of recovering waste heat from tire deformation. Multiple nano quantum dots anchored to the nano tubes, located in the interior of the tire, will convert heat generated from rolling resistance into light radiation.  This radiation will then travel to the nano photovoltaic cells.  Using the same technology in solar cars, these photovoltaic cells or solar cells will convert the radiation produced by the quantum dots into electricity. This electricity will then be transferred from the photovoltaic cells into the super nano lattice.  Next, the electricity will travel through the super nano lattice and into the conduction ring located on the wheel of the tire.  From the conduction ring, the electricity will run through wires located in a hollow axle and into a voltage converter. This converter will regulate the voltage, making it compatible with the car. The electricity will then be stored in the car battery, ultimately powering the car. Merged together, all of these technologies will complete our system.  Furthermore, nanotechnologies, such as the super nano lattice, will also give our invention structure down to the nanoscale level.
