Present Technology
Considerable research was conducted to develop the concept for the CounterBalance Shoe. Both present technologies
and future technologies were researched in order to take advantage of lessons learned and possibilities. Some of the technologies
presently available to support the CounterBalance Shoe include:
- Simulated walking shoes with various layers that add to the effect of walking on
various landscapes that strengthen the core muscles, create better posture, and give the body a workout.
- A roomy and wide shoe that comfortably holds the foot and relieves arthritis.
- Shoes that comfortably align the heel with the proper balance to evenly distribute a person's weight.
They have a heel bone pad that absorbs all the pressure from the heel.
- Shoes are now made with motion control and shock absorption pads. Layers of pads cup the foot,
mainly the midsole, cradle the heel, and hold the heel firmly.
- A shoe that holds the foot and angles the stride. It measures muscle movement,
skeletal structure, and balances from the hip bone, which benefits women who have more shifted weight.
