Hybrid Car

The hybrid is a car that runs on both a fuel (etc. gasoline) and electricity.  The hybrid uses multiple processes to capture wasted energy so the car can sufficiently run on electricity.  As well, the car shuts down its internal combustion engine when idle, such as when at stop lights.  The two most popular models of hybrid vehicles are the Toyota Prius and the Honda Insight. Three-Way Catalytic Converter

The three-way catalytic converter is the standard filter device for all cars manufactured today.  The three-way catalytic converter uses three different processes to reduce harmful car emissions. These three gases are nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and unburned hydrocarbons.  All three are harmful to human health in one way or another.
