DSRC is a new technology, and smaller DSRC transmitters and receivers will need to be developed, to fit onto the VEWS CD.
 

Holographic GPS also needs to be developed, combining holographic and GPS technologies.  A way to put many images onto a small liquid crystal display also needs to be developed.
 

While solar power is being used with increasing frequency, solar tape will need to be developed, so as to provide a consistent, battery-free power solution for the components (computer files, GPS, DSRC receiver, audio speakers) built into the flat VEWS CD unit.
 

Smaller audio speakers also need to be developed, since all VEWS components will be included in the flat, small CD.
