VEWS (Volcano Early Warning System), is an advanced CD disk, attached to vehicle and building windows, which will help you get to higher ground during a volcanic lahar. Holographic GPS maps, displayed on a liquid crystal display on the VEWS CD, will SHOW the best way to safety. At the same time, reassuring voice file messages will help keep people calm, and these audio files will also TELL you which direction to go. Another component of the VEWS system will be that DSRC signals will be sent to traffic signals, changing them to one way green lights on the safest roads leading away from the lahar.
