The Past

From the E.A. Johnson Touch Screen to the new Samsung interactive Tablet, the touchscreen has come a long way. This all started in 1965, when the inventor E.A. Johnson created the touchscreen monitor that was ment to control the air traffic in the U.K. The next ​history step in touchscreen is the PLATO 1V touchscreen by the University of Illinois in 1972. This tech was used in the Illinois education systems in the 1960's. Next is 1982 when Nimish Mehta developed a touch tablet that can read multiple points of contact. See, this info. proves that touchscreen technology did not just come in the 2000's when tablets and 4g and 3g touchscreen phones started selling.

The Present

Technology is the usage and knowledge of tools, techniques, crafts, systems or methods of organization. Modern technology is all this new products such as HD TV's, electric banking, online video calling and etc.​The feature, touchscreen, was revolutionized in 2007 with the release of the Iphone. It uses an  the iOS operating system To really make the mirror extraordinary and easy to use we will use the iOS operating system.

And Maybe Future

Our vision of touchscreen technology is a blast into the future. We are planning to use some of the latest technology of today to create our touchscreen mirror. Technology like Gorilla glass from Corning, Light Touch, Micro Chip Technology, and Gesture Cube™. This technology of the future will be very helpful in our mirror.​​
