BREAKTHROUGHS AND CONSEQUENCES

The "Animal Detector Belt" is very advanced. We only have the
technology to make e-nose sensors for a few things right now. We need to be able to program every mammal fur and a lot of reptile skin into this device. Right now e-nose sensors are only able to smell things they are right on top of. We need to make the e-nose sensors so sensitive they will be able to detect smells from thirty to forty feet away. |
One of the bad things about our invention is animals lose skin
and fur. For example, snakes always shed their skin to grow. The e-nose could warn you of a rattlesnake when there really is not one. Animals fight and lose fur; bears rub on trees losing fur so the e- nose may detect that too. For some animals it may not give you enough warning to get away safely. If a bear is thirty feet away that may not give you enough time to play dead or walk quietly away. |
The best thing about our invention is that it will warn you about
animals. The invention will give you enough time to find and see animals if you are out looking for them. If the animal is a dangerous mammal or reptile then you will have time to get away, or at least be prepared. |
