TEVIA Techs integrated systems:

The Reading System allows visually impaired users to interact with all encountered text by integrating tixel and light field camera technologies with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) software.

Encountered signs and posters are photographed by the light field camera, which captures the direction and intensity of 11 million light rays, allowing the focus of TEVIA Tech's images to be adjusted. Photographed text is identified and deciphered through improved OCR technology.

Users have the option of interacting with text and diagrams directly on their screen with the use of tactile pixels, or having text read to them aloud using improved Text-to-Speech software. This allows users to read handwritten text and printed material currently inaccessible to VI individuals.

Additionally, the Reading System makes online newspapers, ebooks, and web sites readily available to VI users.
