Shining a Light on the FutureThe Issue - Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease where the body's own T cells attack the myelin sheath of neurons in the brain, leading to complications. Over 250,000 people are diagnosed with MS around the world. No cure exists as of right now, but chemical treatments can help slow the progression of the disease, at the risk of side effects.
The Solution - The OBHT project exists as an advancement in present treatments for Multiple Sclerosis by eliminating the harmful side effects of status quo treatments through the use of light to simulate the effects of histamine on T cells.
