We surveyed our band and orchestra classmates and our teachers to see what they wanted in a music stand. For our survey, we asked them what they liked best; practicing or performing. We found out that they liked performing more than practicing. We knew that practicing was very important, though, so we wanted to make it more fun for all musicians.

 Here are the results we found:

40/50 students, or 80%, liked to perform more than practice.
One big issue kids have is music falls off of the stands.
They wanted music stands to be more fun and  interactive to show them where they went wrong.
A big issue for teachers is that the stands are never where they need them.
The biggest obstacle is getting kids to practice.
