Several advancements in both science and economic harmonization must occur before the Electro-Lipid Propulsion System can become a reality. Useful either as a swift solution to avoid costly ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase-oxygenase extraction from plants for the CO2 Fixator, or a quick easy way to produce one of the main fuel constituents used the ELPS, the bacterium would be fed carbon dioxide and water as metabolic necessities and yield glycerol as a waste product.

Since sulfuric acid is only a catalyst involved in nitroglycerine synthesis, constant addition of the chemical during fuel injection should not be necessary. A new lubricant for the cylinder and piston heads must be developed to provide the same catalytic properties as that of sulfuric acid in the reaction. Furthermore, this would substantially decrease or completely eliminate the waste produced by sulfuric acid crystals which could clot in the cylinder walls as a result of the high temperatures involved, thereby preventing engine lock.

Furthermore, certain measures must be taken in order to facilitate the switch from a century old business practice to a new one. The oil mining industry should be transformed into a collection agency for waste glycerides derived from cooking and preparing foods, similar to the system North America used to collect glycerides for munitions production back in World War II. The public would drop off waste fats in a local meat shop which was then collected by factory officials. This would be a profitable venture for instead of being a resource mining industry which relies heavily on the supply of natural resources, oil mining becomes a service industry where the supply of raw materials are constant, relative to the public's eating habits.
