c. Logic System on the nano-scale
After the nanobots have the ability to receive input signals, the next challenge is to process this information and direct their behavior in the desired manner. To do this nanobots must also be able to process information by means of an operating system or logic system that can work on the nano-material. The material which is the basis of the modern computer, silicon, will not be able to work on the nano-level and must also be changed to accommodate for the small size of nanobots. |
