The Future of Vision
Mini Camera Contact Lenses will give a person who has lost their vision the ability to see. Our contact lenses are constructed from an advanced hydrogel material to prevent the wearer’s eyes from becoming dried out.
Embedded within the contact lenses is a camera constructed with the help of nanotechnology. The camera is located in the center of the contact lens to provide balance and represent a natural looking pupil.
Embedded in both the mini camera and along the side of the lens are nano chips. These two nano chips communicate wirelessly, transmitting visual information collected by the camera.
A copper-coated nanotube is also embedded in the contact lens. The nanotube is surgically implanted along the eye and connected to the optic nerve. Information from the nanochip is carried along the nanotube.
Another nanochip is implanted in the optic nerve where it receives the information carried along the copper-coated nanotube.
The information in the receiving nano chip is transferred to the optic nerve. The optic nerve will then act as it normally would, sending the visual information to the brain; giving the visually impaired sight.
