Breakthroughs
In order for Mini Camera Contact Lenses to become a reality, some technological breakthroughs must occur first. One advancement that must take place is for scientists to develop nanochips that are specific to the mini camera and the copper-coated nanotube.
Another breakthrough that will need to take place is the development of copper-coated nanotubes capable of carrying the visual information from the nanochips to the optic nerve.
A third breakthrough that would need to occur is a new surgical technique. Surgeons will need to learn how to attach the nanochip and nanotube to the optic nerve in order for everything to work.
