THI is a combination of percutaneous balloon compression and
microvascular decompression. A catheter is guided to the foramen
ovale (like in balloon compression) to place a cushion between the
nerve and the blood vessel (like in microvascular decompression).
However, the cushion is made of a thermoresponsive hydrogel. Thus,
our technology is much more efficient.
