The Opti Arm
An Optical Interface Prosthetic Device

The Opti Arm is a prosthetic arm that will simulate the neural pathway and allow true to life movements in real time through the use of a multimode optical fiber interface and genetically modified bioluminescent progenitor cells. The light emitted by these modified brain cells would  be “thought patterns” in the form of light.
